UAE Box Office: Pranav Mohanlal's Aadhi debuts at No.2, unseats Akshay Kumar's Pad Man and Padmaavat, Black Panther tops the list

Thursday saw the release of Pranav Mohanlal's Aadhi at the UAE Box Office. The film, which marked the acting debut of Malayalam superstar Mohanlal's son as the male lead has been produced by Antony Perumbavoor under his home banner Aashirvad Cinemas. Directed by Drishyam fame Jeethu Joseph, Aadhi also stars an ensemble star cast including Aditi Ravi, Anusree, Jagapati Babu, Lena, Siddique, Sharaf U Dheen, Siju Wilson, Meghanathan and Sijoy Varghese.

And as expected, Aadhi has opened to a good start at the cinemas across the UAE - GCC countries. On its opening weekend, the Pranav Mohanlal film has debuted at No.2 at the UAE Box Office. The tremendous hype and the all Kerala super hit verdict has worked in favour of the film to record a good start in UAE as well. Aadhi also performed better than Bollywood films Akshay Kumar's Pad Man and Shahid Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh starrer Padmaavat at the UAE Box Office.

Hollywood film Black Panther clocks the numero-uno spot on its opening weekend at the UAE Box Office.
