Tovino Thomas, Aishwarya Lekshmi's Mayaanadhi is a wonderfully woven love story: Mohanlal

Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas' 2017 Christmas release Mayaanadhi is nearing 75-theatrical days at the Box Office. The film, directed by Aashiq Abu marked the second outing of actress Aishwarya Lekshmi. 

Upon its theatrical release, Mayaanadhi managed to impress the audience thanks to a well-written story line and commendable performances from its lead cast, Tovino Thomas and Aishwarya Lekshmi. The terrific word-of-mouth has worked in favor of the film to do steady collections and post a healthy total at the Box Office. 

And now, Mayaanadhi has caught the attention of none other than Malayalam superstar Mohanlal. The 5-time national award winner took to his Facebook page to express his views about the Aashiq Abu film.

"I happened to see the movie #Mayanadhi a few days ago. Mayanadhi, in my opinion, is a wonderfully woven love story with realistic characters and situations. I loved the aesthetic treatment given to the movie as well. On this occasion of the 75th-day celebration of Mayanadhi, I would like to convey my appreciation to the entire cast and crew for their great effort in making a good film", Mohanlal stated on Facebook.

Meanwhile, Mayaanadhi is all set to hit the cinemas across the UAE on March 1. The romance-drama also starred an ensemble star cast including Harish Uthaman, Ilavarasu, Leona Lishoy and Darshana Rajendran.
