TN box office collection of Thalapathy Vijay blockbuster Mersal crosses the worldwide business of Suriya's Singam 3 and Thala Ajith's Vivegam

Thalapathy Vijay blockbuster Mersal is continuing it's steady run at the Box Office. The action thriller, which had released on the auspicious occasion of Diwali has already emerged as the fifth South Indian film to cross the Rs. 250 crore mark at the Box Office worldwide. Mersal is also the third film to cross Rs. 100 crore alone in Tamil Nadu markets after Rajinikanth starrer Enthiran and SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2.

And on Saturday, Mersal had scripted yet another record to its credit as far as Tamil Nadu Box Office is concerned.

It has been now confirmed that the Tamil Nadu Box Office collections of Thalapathy Vijay starrer has crossed the worldwide collections of Suriya's Singam 3, Thala Ajith's Vivegam and his 2017 January release Bairavaa. It's indeed a rare feat considering that none of 2017's Tamil releases have managed to cross the worldwide collections of Singam 3, Vivegam and Bairavaa.
