Teaser of Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar's 2.0 to release on this date and it's not on January 6

Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0 is touted as one of the most anticipated films of 2018. The Shankar directorial was always in news ever since the makers announced the release date of the film as 2017 Diwali release. However, the makers have postponed the release date to January 26, 2017 before confirming the official release date as April 14, 2018. In fact, Rajinikanth himself revealed that 2.0 will hit the screens on April 14.

And now, the makers are following the same uncertainty over its teaser release date as well.

On Wednesday, actor Karthi revealed that 2.0's teaser will be unveiled at the Natchathira Vizha occasion in Malaysia on January 6.

However, source close to the film have confirmed that the teaser of Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar starrer will not be released on Saturday, instead they are planning to give some surprise for the 2.0 fans.

An official confirmation on the release date is expected to be announced soon.
