Sathyanathan from Sadayam is Mohanlal's career best performance: Fahadh Faasil

Fahadh Faasil's recent release Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum is continuing its good theatrical run at the box office. The film, which marks actor's second collaboration with director Dileesh Pothan after national award winning Maheshinte Prathikaram, has already emerged a super hit at the box office.

In a recent interview to a leading daily, Fahadh Faasil has revealed that he is a huge fan of Malayalam superstar Mohanlal. The young actor also opened up about Lalettan's 1992 release Sadayam, which he has rated as his all-time favourite performance of the legendary actor. Fahadh said that Mohanlal delivered his career best performance in the Sibi Malayil film.

The Bangalore Days actor went on to say that Mohanlal's acting, especially in the climax portions of Sadayam, was brilliant. Fahadh also expressed his desire to play a similar character in his film career soon.

Interestingly, Sadayam is said to be a landmark film in Mohanlal's career. Written by legendary writer MT Vasudevan Nair, the film featured the 5-time national award winner in the titular role of Sathyanathan, who is condemned to death for brutally murdering two adults and two kids of his family.
