Salman Khan has a huge following in Andhra Pradesh too, so I can't remake Mahesh Babu's SPYder with him: AR Murugadoss

Ever since Mahesh Babu, AR Murugadoss film SPYder released, many speculations circulated that the latter is planning to remake the film in Hindi with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. Recently, AR Murugadoss also stated that Salman will be main lead in one of his upcoming films as well.

However, seems like AR Murugadoss is not interested to remake SPYder with the Dabangg actor.

The hit maker revealed the reason in one of his interviews recently,

“Salman has a huge following in Andhra Pradesh too. So the fans would be disappointed to see him doing something they’ve already seen another superstar do. I don't want to remake SPYder with him. But, I will make only an original film with Salman.

Interestingly, AR Murugadoss' previous Hindi films, Aamir Khan starrer Ghajini and Akshay Kumar's Holiday: A Solider Is Never Off Duty were the remakes of his Tamil blockbusters, Surya starrer Ghajini and Vijay's Thuppakki. Both the Hindi remakes turned out Box Office hits as well.
