Saamy 2 : Sequel of Vikram, Hari film to start rolling from June end

The shooting of Tamil actor Vikram's Saamy 2 is slated to be commenced soon. Directed By Hari, the action-entertainer is a sequel to the 2003 blockbuster, Saamy.

Earlier, during the trailer launch of Vikram's 2016 release, Iru Mugan, Hari had confirmed that he will be teaming up with the national-award winning actor for Saamy 2.

Over the past few days, there have been media reports that the shooting of Saamy 2 is going to be shelved.

However, on Friday the makers squashed the reports and stated that shooting of Saamy 2 will starts rolling from this month end. The makers have already roped in Trisha and Keerthy Suresh to essay the female leads of the film. Saamy 2 also marks the third collaboration of Vikram - Trisha after Saamy and Bheema.

Harris Jayaraj has been finalised as the music composer of Saamy 2 and Priyank will do the cinematography for the film.
