Rs 5 crore: Nayanthara's remuneration for 50-second ad revealed

Nayanthara is considered as one of the highest paid actresses in India. The South actress was recently in news for bagging the maximum best actress awards for Malayalam and Tamil cinema respectively. Her recent releases turned out to be box office success as well.

And now, Nayanthara has once again created headlines, but this time for her whopping remuneration for a TV advertisement.

Reportedly, the superstar has became the face of a noted DTH service for which the actress has charged a bomb. The duration of the commercial was just 50-second and it was shot over two days in four languages including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. However the remuneration of Ghajini actress for the ad was a massive Rs. 5 crore, which is similar to the remuneration of Anushka Shetty for the Baahubali series.

Nayanthara's upcoming films include Malayalam film Love Action Drama opposite Nivin Pauly, Sivakarthikeya's Velaikkaran, Imaika Nodigal with Ganamuthu and un-titled film with Balakrishna.
