Return of the superstars: Nayanthara joins Thala Ajith's Viswasam

It's known that Tamil superstar Thala Ajith and director Siva have teamed up for yet another film after the disastrous result of Vivegam. The film titled Viswasam will mark the fourth collaboration of Thala Ajith and Siva in 4 years after Veeram, Vedalam and Vivegam. While Veeram and Vedalam turned hits, the actor-director duo had failed to score a hat-trick with Vivegam.

Earlier, many media reported that the makers of Viswasam have approached Anushka Shetty and Shraddha Srinath to portray the female lead in the film.

However, the makers have squashed all the reports and announced the leading lady's name on Tuesday.

And much to the delight of Thala Ajith fans, the makers have roped in none other than Nayanthara as the female lead of Viswasam. The film also marks the superstar-duo's collaboration after a gap of five years. The Thala Ajith - Nayanthara duo have earlier worked together in three films including super hits Billa and Arrambam.

Bankrolled by Sathya Jyothi Films, Viswasam will starts rolling from March and will hit the screens on Diwali.
