Looks like the stupendous trailer response to Salman Khan's Bollywood film Tiger Zinda Hai is also the talking topic across the South as well. The spy-thriller, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, was initially set to face a stiff competition from Tamil superstar Chiyaan Vikram's Sketch in December. However, according to the latest reports, the makers of Sketch is planning to postpone the film to a different date.

The actual reason for the change in the release date is yet to be revealed, but there are reports that the makers have decided to postpone the Chiyaan Vikram starrer to avoid clashing with Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai, which is scheduled to release worldwide on 22 December.

Reportedly, the makers of Sketch are now planning to release their film on 12 January 2018.

This is not the first time Sketch is getting postponed to a different date. The film was earlier scheduled to be released as a Diwali release, but later postponed to avoid cashing with Thalapathy Vijay blockbuster Mersal.

Produced by Kabali maker Kalaipuli S Thanu and directed by Vaalu fame Vijay Chander, Sketch stars Tamannaah Bhatia in the female lead. The film also marks her first collaboration between Vikram. Sketch also stars Sri Priyanka, Soori, Meghali and Radha Ravi.
