Friday saw the release of Ram Charan, Samantha starrer Rangasthalam at the Box Office. The period drama, directed by Sukumar has been produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Rangasthalam features Ram Charan in the titular role of a partially deaf person Chitti Babu and Samantha as his leading heroine Ramalakshmi.
Catch had previously reported that Rangasthalam has taken one of the best Telugu openings ever by minting a whopping Rs. 44 crore on its opening day.
And now, the Ram Charan starrer has ended it's opening weekend on a terrific note at the Box Office worldwide.
On its opening weekend, Rangasthalam had minted Rs. 90 crore at the Box Office worldwide. The film was rock steady in Telugu speaking states and grossed a good Rs. 57 crore in three theatrical days. In USA, Rangasthalam has crossed Rs. 15 crore mark in its opening weekend while in Karnataka, the Ram Charan starrer has minted Rs. 8 crore. Rangasthalam went on to collect Rs. 10 crore from rest of India and overseas as well.
Rangasthalam has so far minted Rs. 90 crore in three days and looking at the early trends, the film is all set to cross the century mark by Monday night.
