Ramaleela: Dileep, Pulimurugan maker's film finally confirmed for September 28 release

Malayalam actor Dileep's upcoming film Ramaleela finally gets a release date. The political thriller which marks the directorial debut of Arun Gopy is produced by Tomichan Mulakuppadam, the maker behind Mohanlal blockbuster and Malayalam cinema's all-time Industry hit Pulimurugan.

Ramaleela was scheduled to hit the screens on July 7, but the makers had decided to postpone the film due to reasons unrevealed.

On Wednesday, Arun Gopy and Tomichan Mulakuppadam revealed the release date of Ramaleela as September 28 on their Facebook pages.

Arun Gopy posted on Facebook:

"We are happy to announce the release date of Ramaleela Movie on 28 September 2017. We expect your support and prayers all the time".

"Ramaleela Movie will be in theaters from 28 September 2017. Expecting all your support and prayers", Tomichan Mulakuppadam, who also distributed Thala Ajith's Rs. 150 crore hit Vivegam in Kerala stated on his FB page.

Ramaleela will also see veteran Tamil actress Raadhika Sarath Kumar make her comeback to Malayalam films after the 1993 film Arthana.

Ramaleela also stars Prayaga Martin, Mukesh, Salim Kumar, Siddique, Vijayaraghavan, Suresh Krishna, Renji Panicker and Kalabhavan Shajon.
