Radhika Apte's first release of the year, Bollywood film Pad Man is nearing it's theatrical run at the Box Office. The film, directed by R Balki starred the talented actress opposite superstar Akshay Kumar in the film. Produced by actress-turned-writer and Akshay Kumar's wife Twinkle Khanna, Pad Man has so far minted nearly Rs. 82 crore at the Bollywood Box Office.
In a recent interview, Radhika Apte has revealed the incident that forced her to slap a popular South film hero. The Parched actress explained the same while attending Neha Dhupai's talk show 'BFFs with Vogue'.
“It was my first day on the set and a famous South actor started to tickle my feet. I was stunned as we’d never met before and I instinctively slapped him.”, Radhika Apte said.
During her initial days, Radhika Apte has worked in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu languages opposite popular South heroes including superstars Balayya, Suriya, five-time national award winning actor Prakash Raj and Malayalam actors Fahadh Faasil and Ajmal Ameer.
