Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan's Agnyaathavaasi was released with high expectations at the Box Office. The film has everything going in its favor: Pawan Kalyan's stardom, Trivikram Srinivas as director, Keerthy Suresh and Anu Emmanuel as female leads, actress Kushboo's Telugu film comeback and composer Anirudh Ravichander's Telugu film debut. Also, Agnyaathavaasi also marked the collaboration of Pawan Kalyan - Trivikram Srinivas after the 2013 blockbuster Attarintiki Daredi.
However, much to the disappointment of the makers, Agnyaathavaasi has crashed badly at the Box Office.
Though Agnyaathavaasi opened to an impressive note on its first day, the collections dropped drastically from second day onwards at the Box Office. The negative reviews from the critics and poor word-of-mouth from the audience has worked against the film to show a respectable growth at the Box Office.
The distributors who bought the film for record prizes depending on Pawan Kalyan's stardom are in trouble as the film is all set to loose a major chunk of their investment. Going by the Box Office collection trends, Agnyaathavaasi is all set to join the 'biggest South film disasters' list like Thala Ajith's Vivegam and Mahesh Babu's SPYder.
