It's known that legendary director-actor duo Priyadarshan and Mohanlal have teamed up for a war-drama titled Marakkar – Arabi Kadalinte Simham. Produced by Antony Perumbavoor under Aashirvad Cinemas along with Dr Roy CJ’s Confident Group and Santhosh T Kuruvilla’s Moonshot Entertainment, the film is reportedly being made for a whopping budget of Rs. 100 crore. Marakkar – Arabi Kadalinte Simham also marks the 41st association between Mohanlal and Priyadarshan.

Earlier, Catch had reported that Mohanlal will be seen portraying the titular role of Kunjali Marakkar in Marakkar - Arabi Kadalinte Simham. Kunjali Marakkar was the title given to the naval chief in the 16th century, to protect the coast against the invading Portuguese army.

And now, if media reports are to be believed, the makers are planning to cast none other veteran actors Nagarjun and Suniel Shetty to portray two crucial roles in the film.

An official confirmation on this is expected to be announced soon.
