Mersal: Thalapathy Vijay blockbuster is unaffected by new releases, inching close to Rs. 250 crore

Tamil actor Thalapathy Vijay's Diwali blockbuster Mersal has successfully completed one month of its theatrical run at the Box Office worldwide. Though many films including Bollywood releases and Tamil-Telugu films have been released , but none of them have managed to create any trouble for Thalapathy Vijay film as long as Box Office performance is concerned.

At the end of 36-days theatrical run, Mersal had minted a whopping Rs. 247 crore at the Box Office worldwide. At the Tamil Nadu Box Office, the film had already emerged as the second all-time blockbuster after SS Rajamouli blockbuster Baahubali: The Conclusion.

Going by the steady Box Office performance, Mersal have all chances to cross the rs. 250 crore mark and is expected dominate the Box Office worldwide till the arrival of Christmas releases.
