Manyam Puli: Telugu dubbed version of Mohanlal's Pulimurugan bags 2017's fourth highest TRP rating in Telugu speaking states

Malayalam actor Mohanlal's Pulimurugan is nearing one-year anniversary on coming October, but the film is still creating headlines. The film, an action entertainer, which had released on the auspicious occasion of Dusshera in 2016 starred the Malayalam superstar in the titular of a hunter. Pulimurugan went on to become the all-time blockbuster of Malayalam industry and has been dubbed in Telugu as Manyam Puli, which hit the screens in 2016 December.

Similar to its original version Pulimurugan, Manyam Puli too turned out to be a blockbuster at the Telugu Box Office.

And now, the Lalettan starrer has set another record as Manyam Puli emerges the fourth Telugu film of 2017 with highest TRP ratings in Telugu speaking states.

Reportedly, the world television premiere of Manyam Puli, which had aired on a popular Telugu channel recently garnered a TRP rating of 11.6 to become the fourth highest TRP rating film of 2017 in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The increasing stardom of Mohanlal in Telugu speaking states has worked in favor of the film to attract the family audience. Also, it has to be noted that the legendary actor has bagged his 5th national award for his acting in Telugu film Janatha Garage, which had released last year as well. Similar to Pulimurugan, Janatha Garage too was a Rs.100 crore grosser at the Box Office.

Written by Udhayakrishna and produced by Tomichan Mulakuppadam under the banner Mulakupadam Films, Pulimurugan has been directed by Vysakh. The film also starred Kamalini Mukherjee, Lal, Vinu Mohan, Jagapati Babu and Namitha.
