Well-known cinematographer P.C. Sreeram, known for his work in films such as "Ishq" and "Remo", has been roped in for actor Nivin Pauly's next yet-untitled Tamil film.
To be produced by R.D. Raja, the film will be directed by debutant Prabhu Radhakrishnan.
"He is very excited to be part of the project. My producer and I approached him with the script which he really liked when I narrated. He understood the scope for cinematography and immediately agreed to come on board," Prabhu told IANS.
This will be Sreeram's second film with Raja after Tamil romantic-comedy "Remo".
Asked why he is collaborating with a Malayalam actor instead of someone from Tamil filmdom, he said, "Thanks to 'Premam', his popularity has grown beyond Malayalam industry. He's very popular among Tamil audiences as well."
Although tight-lipped about the genre of the film, Prabhu confirmed the project will roll from January 2018.
