Kerala Box Office: Thala Ajith set to to beat Mammootty, Mohanlal and Vijay as Vivegam slated to release with 1000 shows on opening day

Thala Ajith's upcoming film Vivegam is all set to create history at the Kerala Box Office. The film, which is scheduled for Thursday release, stars the Tamil superstar in different looks. Directed by Siva, Vivegam marks his third collaboration with Thala Ajith after Veeram and Vedalam.

Tomichan Mulakuppadam, the maker who bankrolled Mohanlal blockbuster Pulimurugan, is releasing the Tamil film in Kerala and he is leaving no stone unturned to make Vivegam as one of the biggest release Kerala have ever seen.

It has now been confirmed that Vivegam is set to release in a massive number of 300 plus screens in Kerala with a record number of 1000 plus shows. It's indeed a massive release considering that films of Malayalam superstars Mammootty and Mohanlal and Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay are yet to be released in such number of screens. With this feat, Vivegam also emerged as the third film set to have 300 screens and 1000 shows on its opening day in Kerala after Rajinikanth's Kabali and SS Rajamouli - Prabhas film Baahubali : The Conclusion.

Vivegam also stars Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi, Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan.
