Kerala box office : Jayaram, Unni Mukundan's Achayans opens with good response

The new Malayalam film, Jayaram, Unni Mukundan's Achayans opened well with good occupancy across the cinemas of Kerala. The multi-starrer film directed by the 2016 hit Aadupuliyattam fame Kannan Thamarakkulam was released in more than 100 screens in Kerala. Achayans also stars an ensemble cast including Tamil actor Prakash Raj, Siddique, Amala Paul, Sshivada, Sanju Sivram, Anu Sithara and Adil Ibrahim.

Achayans was expected to witness an average start at the ticket windows due to low promotions, but the positive reviews and the star cast helped the film to open well at the Kerala box office. Also, the stupendous response to the song 'Anuragam Puthumazha Pole', which marked the singing debut of actor Unni Mukundan has worked in favor of the film to record good occupancy through out the opening day.

Achayans has been praised for it's thrilling plot and the performances of its lead cast especially by Jayaram, Unni Mukundan, Prakash Raj and Siddique.

And as per early Saturday trends, Achayans is all set to have a good opening weekend at the Kerala box office.
