Kerala Box Office: Ira set to become Unni Mukundan's biggest opener

The much awaited Unni Mukundan film Ira is few hours away for it's theatrical release. The film which marks the directorial debut of Saiju SS, a former associate of director Vysakh of Mohanlal blockbuster Pulimurugan fame also marks the maiden production venture of Vysakh and writer Udhayakrishna, Vysakh Udhayakrishna Productions. Tipped to be a crime-thriller, Ira also stars an ensemble star cast including Gokul Suresh, Miya George, Niranjana Anoop, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Srikanth Murali and Alencier Ley Lopez.

Ira was in news ever since the makers announced the cast and crew details of the film. The film marks Vysakh's second association with Unni Mukundan after Mallu Singh and third association with Udhayakrishna after Mammooty starrer Pokkiri Raja and Mohanlal's Pulimurugan. Interestingly, all three films turned out to be blockbusters at the Box Office. Pulimurugan also welcomed the Rs. 100 club for Malayalam film industry.

Similar to Vysakh - Udhayakrishna duo's previous films, Ira is also expected to rake in good moolah at the Box Office. Also, Unni Mukundan is riding high at the Box Office with back-to-back blockbusters Masterpiece and Bhaagamathie. Ira will be Malayalam Youth Icon's straight third release within a span of 75-theatrical days. The film is all set to have a wide release in a massive number of 300 screens across the India to become the biggest Unni Mukundan release till date.

Going by the good buzz around the film and trailer response, Ira have all chances to become the all-time biggest opener of Muscle Aliyan at the Kerala Box Office.
