Real life brothers Indrajith Sukumaran and Prithviraj Sukumaran's Tiyaan is slated to be released on 7 July. The film, said to be a pan-India entertainer marks the directorial debut of Jiyen Krishnakumar. Written by actor-turned-writer Murali Gopy, Tiyaan has been bankrolled by Haneef Mohammed of Mohanlal's Karmayodha fame . Indrajith essays the role of Pattabhirama Giri while Prithviraj will be seen portraying Aslan Mohammed in the film.
Tiyaan was earlier scheduled for a June 29 release, but was postponed to July 7 citing delay in Censorship process.
However, Tiyaan has been passed by CBFC with 'A' certificate with a run time of 2 hours 48 mins.
Tiyaan is set to have a good opening at the Kerala box office thanks to its wide release. The makers are releasing the film in more than 200 plus screens to make it as one of the biggest Prithviraj release till date.
Tiyaan also marks Indrajith's 15th collaboration with Prithviraj and fifth collaboration with Murali Gopy. The film also stars Shine Tom Chacko, Padmapriya, Ananya and Bhavika Alex in important roles.
