It's known that Telugu actress Poonam Kaur is all set to reurn to Bollywood cinema with Karan Singh Grover's upcoming film 3 Dev. The film tipped to be a comedy drama also stars Ravi Dubey, Kunaal Roy Kapoor and Kay Kay Menon.
In a recent interview, Poonam Kaur has shared her experience working with Karan Singh Grover in 3 Dev.
“I always wanted to play a historical role in Bollywood. I actually got a call from the filmmakers three years ago. The director spoke to me for a few minutes and I was on board. I did not even audition for the film, and it was unbelievable. My first shot was filmed at the Brahma Kumaris ashram at Mount Abu in Rajasthan. It’s a place I go to every year, so I felt like my prayers were finally answered.”
“I play 25-year-old Radha and I don’t speak much in the film. Since I shot for it three years ago, I look hefty, but I am glad to be part of a film that talks about the sanctity of thoughts. To be playing Radha in this time and age is a bit difficult, but I am glad that I pulled it off.”
"Karan Singh Grover is a cool co-star and we had great memories shooting for the film. In fact, Ravi Dubey, Raima Sen and I went on top of Mount Abu chanting and it was one of the most wonderful times I ever had", Poonam Kaur said.
