Julie 2: 'Sanskari' Pahlaj Nihalani can relax as Raai Laxmi's 'clean, adult family film' bagged 'A' certificate with no cuts

South Indian actress Raai Laxmi's debut Bollywood film in main lead, Julie 2 has completed its censorship process on Tuesday. Julie 2 was in news ever since the makers revealed the first look of the film with a tagline 'presented by Pahlaj Nihalani'. Interestingly, the 'Sanskari' Pahlaj Nihalani, who was recently removed from the Central Board Of Film Certification (CBFC) as chief, is distributing Julie 2.

Pahlaj Nihalani had to face a lot of trolls on social media for stating Julie 2 as 'clean, adult family film' during the trailer launch of the film.

However, Pahlaj Nihalani can now relax as the erotic thriller has got a 'A' certificate from the Central Board Of Film Certification (CBFC) without any cuts.

Directed by Deepak Shivdasani, Julie 2 is a sequel to his 2004 Bollywood erotic thriller hit Julie, which starred Neha Dhupia in the main female lead. The film also stars Ravi Kishan, Aditya Srivastava, Pankaj Tripathy and Rati Agnihotri and is scheduled to release on October 6.
