Jimikki Kammal: Mohanlal's version of the all-India blockbuster song crosses 1 crore views

After the record breaking response to the song 'Entammede Jimikki Kammal' from Mohanlal's Onam release Velipadinte Pusthakam, the superstar's version has also set a new record on social media. The Shaan Rahman composed song, written by Anil Panachooran and jointly sung by Vineeth Sreenivasan and Renjith Unni, had turned out to be an anthem ever since the makers released the song online.

Though Mohanlal was not featured in the song from the film, there were huge demands for Lalettan to dance to the tunes of the super hit song. And much to the delight of Jimikki Kammal lovers, the Malayalam superstar himself danced to the tunes of Jimikki Kammal recently.

And now, the Mohanlal version too sets a record as the his Jimikki Kammal dance video crosses the coveted 1 crore views on YouTube.

From Bengaluru software companies to Chennai Colleges, many non-Kerala people have already gave tribute to the song by making their dance videos of Entammede Jimikki Kammal song. Even the dance video made by the students and faculty of Indian School of Commerce had already clocked nearly 1.6 million views on YouTube.

Directed by Lal Jose and produced by Antony Perumbavoor under Aashirvad Cinemas, Velipadinte Pusthakam starred Mohanlal in the titular role of college professor Michael Idikkula.
