Jai Lava Kusa: Jr.NTR's action entertainer unseats Allu Arjun's DJ to become the third highest Telugu grosser of 2017

Telugu actor Jr.NTR's Jai Lava Kusa has successfully completed its 50-days theatrical run at the Box Office. The action-entertainer, which had released on 21st September, opened to good occupancy at the Telugu Box Office and overseas alike. Jai Lava Kusa starred the Telugu superstar in triple roles as brothers Jai, Lava Kumar and Kusa.

Upon its release, Jai Lava Kusa created headlines by becoming the second fastest Rs. 100 crore Telugu grosser of the year after SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2.

And now, the Jr.NTR starrer emerged as the the third highest Telugu grosser of 2017. Jai Lava Kusa unseats Allu Arjun's summer blockbuster Duvvada Jagannadham to do the same. At the end of 50 theatrical days, Jai lava Kusa has grossed nearly Rs. 132 crore at the Box Office. The film also helped Jr.NTR to become the first South Indian actor to have hat-trick of $1.5 Mn grossers at the US Box Office.

Directed by K.S. Ravindra and produced by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Jai Lava Kusa starred Raashi Khanna and Nivetha Thomas in female lead roles.
