E4 Entertainment is considered as one of the current popular film production houses in Malayalam cinema industry. The banner, which had made a grand debut with the 2013 national award winning film, Fahadh Faasil starrer North 24 Kaatham has so far bankrolled 8 Malayalam films. In fact, two of the biggest Malayalam hits of 2017, Prithviraj starrer Ezra and Tovino Thomas, Wamiqa Gabbi starrer Godha were produced under there banner of E4 Entertainment as well.
And now, the film production company is all set to enter Tamil film industry as well. To make their Kollywood entry bigger, the joint founders, Mukesh R Mehta and C.V. Sarathi are all set to remake the recent path breaking Telugu release, Arjun Reddy in Tamil.
The joint makers took to their Facebook pages to officially announce the update:
"Happy to announce that E4 entertainment is entering Tamil with Arjun Reddy"
It's a good feat for the Malayalam production house considering that Dhanush's home production Wunderbar Films too was eyeing to acquire the Tamil remake rights of the Vijay Deverakonda - Sandeep Reddy blockbuster.
Meanwhile, Nivin Pauly's Onam release Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela, distributed by E4 Entertainment is continuing its fabulous run at the Indian Box Office. The film already emerged a hit has been directed by Althaf Salim and stars Shanthi Krishna, Ahaana Krishna and Aishwarya Lekshmi in female lead roles.
