I was lucky to work with Pawan Kalyan in Agnyaathavaasi, but I was deeply disappointed with it's failure: Anu Emmanuel

Anu Emmaneul's Friday release Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India has opened to a good note at the Box Office worldwide. Tipped to be a patriotic thriller, the film stars Anu Emmanuel opposite superstar Allu Arjun.

In her recent interview while promoting Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India, Anu Emmanuel revealed that she was deeply disappointed with the disastrous result of her Januray release Pawan Kalyan starrer Agnyaathavaasi. She also added that she was very lucky to star in Power Star's film at the early stage of her career.

“I was very lucky to have acted alongside a top star like Pawan Kalyan at an early stage of my career. I had high hopes on the movie. But I was deeply disappointed with the film’s failure, Anu Emmanuel said.

Directed by Trivikram Sreenivas, Agnyaathavaasi was released on the auspicious occasion of Sankranthi 2017 and turned to be a huge disaster at the Box Office. The film also starred Keerthy Suresh in the female lead.
