Bharat Ane Nenu Box Office: Mahesh Babu starrer sets non-Baahubali record, mints Rs. 53 crore on day 1

Mahesh Babu's Telugu film Bharat Ane Nenu released on Friday and as expected the film has taken one of the best openings in the history of Telugu cinema. Directed by Koratala Siva and bankrolled by DVV Danayya, the film stars the Telugu superstar in the titular role of a Chief Minister, Bharat.

Bharat Ane Nenu has set the Box Office on fire by minting Rs. 53 crore on its opening day worldwide. The Mahesh Babu starrer has raked in a massive Rs. 32 crore from Telugu speaking states alone, which is nothing but at an extraordinary achievement. The film also unseats the record set by Ram Charan's recent release Rangasthalam as well. And with these historical collections, Bharat Ane Nenu emerged as the all-time second Telugu opener after SS Rajamouli's Baahubali: The Conclusion.
