Baahubali 2 : Prabhas, Anushka Shetty blockbuster unseats Aamir Khan's PK to emerge the highest grossing Indian film worldwide

SS Rajamouli's Baahubali : The Conclusion has successfully completed one week of its theatrical release at the Box Office. The film, a sequel to the 2015 blockbuster Baahubali : The Beginning stars Prabhas and Anushka Shetty in lead roles. Baahubali 2 stars Prabhas in dual role as father-son duo Amarendra Baahubali and Mahenda Baahubali whereas Anushka Shetty portrays the role of Maharani Devasena.

While Baahubali 2 is creating new records at the Indian Box Office, the film has set another record at the Box Office worldwide.

Baahubali 2 has surpassed the worldwide collections of Aamir Khan's PK to become the highest grossing Indian film of all time. It's a remarkable feat considering that Baahubali 2 has broken PK's lifetime collections in 7 theatrical days.

By the end of its opening week, Baahubali 2 has crossed the Rs. 800 crore mark at the box office. The film is on its way to become the first Indian movie to cross the Rs. 1000 crore mark worldwide.
