Baahubali 2 emerges all-time highest opener in Nepal

Baahubali : The Conclusion is on a record breaking spree. The film, which had released on Friday has already emerged as the biggest opener in Indian cinema. Directed by SS Rajamouli and jointly produced by Shobu Yarlagadda, Kovelamudi Raghavendra Rao and Prasad Devineni, the film is a sequel to the 2015 blockbuster film Baahubali: The beginning.

The war drama stars Telugu actor Prabhas and Anushka Shetty in lead roles. Catch had previously reported that Baahubali 2 emerged as the highest opener at the USA Box Office.

And now, it has been confirmed that the SS Rajamouli film has set yet another opening weekend record overseas.

Reportedly, Baahubali 2 has minted Rs. 7 crore in Nepal within two days of theatrical release. It's a remarkable achievement considering that none of the Indian films released so far managed to cross the Rs. 7 crore mark in Nepal.

Baahubali 2 also starred Rana Daggubati, Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah Bhatia and Nassar.
