After giving a classic performance in Telugu super hit film Arjun Reddy, now sexy movie star of Telugu, Vijay Devarkonda is all set to mark his Bollywood debut. The actor is all set to make his debut with a multistarrer film of Kabir Khan led by Ranveer Singh. It is known that Ranveer Singh will be seen playing the role of Kapil Dev, former Indian cricket captain who led the team to win 1983 world cup.
Now reports are that the makers have now locked one more actor to play the leading role. The super hit actor Vijay Devarkonda who hit the popularity with the movie Arjun Reddy is finalized to play the role of Krishnamachari Srikkanth, the opening batsman of the winning team of 1983.
Vijay will be seen playing a Tamil cricketer who happens to be a good friend of Ranveer Singh (Kapil Dev). Now, this is surely interesting to see Vijay Devarkonda and Ranveer Singh in the same film. The interesting thing is that Vijay Devarkonda became a part of discussions when late actress Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor told that she has a huge crush on Vijay. She revealed it in the show Koffee With Karan.
On the other hand, Vijay Devarkonda's film Arjun Reddy is being remade in Hindi as well in the name of Kabir Singh. Padmaavat actor Shahid Kapoor is playing the leading role in the Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy.
