Anushka Shetty to play Rani Laxmi Bai in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy starring Chiranjeevi, Nayanthara, and Tamannaah
Anushka Shetty is known for playing powerful women-centric characters and her films like Arundhati, Rudhramamdevi and Bhaagamathie have been a quite hit example. The actress has already a winner with some marvellous performances and once again she is going to play a warrior queen. According to the current media reports, Anushka Shetty may be seen in the role of freedom fighter Rani Laxmi Bai.
The reports suggest that Anushka Shetty is going to be seen in the role of Rani Laxmi Bai in Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Besides acting, she will also do a voice-over for the film. She will lend her voice for the movie.
She will come in the climax part of the film and her character will lead the Indian rebellion of 1857 in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. While talking about the film, Chiranjeevi is going to play the role of freedom fighter Narasimha Reddy in this period drama, and the film is directed by Surender Reddy.
According to the sources, Anushka Shetty will be narrating the story of Sy Raa. The film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy will have a strong cast Tamanna, Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and others led by Chiranjeevi. It also has Amitabh Bachchan playing a pivotal cameo role. It is slated to release on 2nd October 2019.
