Fans of Bollywood actor Salman Khan have a reason to rejoice as the sequel to his 2009 blockbuster Wanted is slated to be launched soon. Directed by South film actor-turned-director Prabhudeva, the film will be made upon the plot point suggested by Salman Khan.
Wanted was a special film for Prabhudeva because it's the first Hindi film he directed. Salman and Prabhu were itching to come together. Watch out for an announcement shortly, a source close to Salman reveals.
The success of Wanted had come as a huge relief for Salman as the actor was going through a bad phase, with back-to-back flops. Between No Entry and Wanted, the Bollywood superstar had delivered 12 flops of 13 releases with only one hit, Partner. But Prabhu Deva's Wanted provided the much-needed success for Salman Khan by becoming the second biggest grosser of the year. The film was a remake of the 2006 Telugu Blockbuster, Pokiri.
