2.0: Release date of Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar starrer is here, no clash with Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun films

Fans of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar have a reason to rejoice as their upcoming film 2.0 finally gets a release date. Directed by Shankar and produced by Lyca Productions, the film was in news recently when the makers postponed the release date from January 26 2018.

Though the makers are yet to reveal the official release date of the film, Rajinikanth revealed the release date of 2.0 as April 14 in his recently concluded fans meet in Chennai.

"2.0 is getting delayed because of CG work. Only after it is completed, AR Rahman can finish re-recording. So we had to postpone the release date from January 26 to April 14", Rajinikanth said in his fans meet in Chennai.

Apart from 2.0, two superstars films including Mahesh Babu's Bharat Ane Nenu and Allu Arjun's Naa Pery Surya are also slated to release in April, but on 27th of the month.
