2.0: Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar film to break Aamir Khan starrer Dhoom 3's record even before release

The release date of Shankar's 2.0 has been confirmed as 25 January 2018 and the makers, Lyca Productions are leaving no stone unturned in promoting the film as the most ambitious project of the recent times.

The film, a sci-fi thriller, starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, is reportedly being made for a budget of Rs.450 crore.

Though the entire shooting of 2.0 got over in May, the makers are now planning to shoot yet another expensive song featuring Thalaiva and the lead actress Amy Jackson.

Reportedly, Shankar is set to shoot the song in a period of 12-days, which will be composed by AR Rahman. The art-direction for the song is currently underway and both the leading stars will groove to this song which will be choreographed by Bosco-Ceaser.

With this, 2.0 is set to break the 10-day-song shot by Yash Raj Films for Aamir Khan - Katrina Kaif starrer Dhoom3.
