2.0 is not an extension of Enthiran and Akshay Kumar is not just an antagonist: Shankar at Dubai press meet

Shankar's 2.0 is tipped to be one of the most awaited films of 2018. Produced by Lyca Productions, 2.0 stars Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in lead roles.
The press meet of 2.0 had happened at Burj Al Arab and during the media interaction, Shankar revealed an interesting update on 2.0's story. He also added the details about Akshay Kumar's role in the film.
"2.0 is not an extended version of Enthiran. It will be a new story and took long period for me to complete the script of the film. Akshay Kumar is not just an antagonist in the film. His character has different shades in the film", Shankar said.
Apart from Shankar, Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson and AR Rahman too attended the press meet in Dubai.
