2.0 : Hot air balloons with pictures of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar to fly in Los Angeles, Dubai, London and Australia

The post production works of Shankar's 2.0 is current underway in US. The film, a sequel to his 2010 blockbuster Enthiran has been produced by Lyca Productions for a whopping cost of Rs. 450 crore. 2.0 stars Rajinikanth in a dual role and Akshay Kumar will make his Tamil debut as the main antagonist of the film.

Though the film is scheduled to release on January 25 2018, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to make 2.0 as the one of the most promoted film of recent films.

A hot air balloon featuring the posters of the film, featuring Thalaivar and Akshay Kumar is scheduled to be flown over Hollywood signage in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Raju Mahalingam, the Creative Head of Lyca productions stated,

"A hot air balloon featuring the posters of Rajini sir and Akshay sir will travel around the world and will be showcased in balloon festivals around the world. As we don't look at 2.0 as an Indian production but a Hollywood film, we wanted to do something different. So, we ordered for a 100-ft-tall air balloon eight months ago. On Tuesday, the balloon will be up over the Hollywood signage in Los Angeles. The balloons will fly in London, Dubai, Europe, Australia and South East Asian countries as well. We are also planning to bring the air balloons to India and take it to various cities. We hope to involve well-known film stars from other industries to participate in the ride:, Raju Mahalingam said.

2.0 also stars Amy Jackson, Adil Hussain and Malayalam actor Kalabhavan Shajon.
