2.0 : Audio release of Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar starrer to be held in Dubai on Diwali

The makers of 2.0 revealed the date of its audio release. The film, a sci-fi thriller produced by Lyca Productions for a budget of Rs. 450 crore has been directed by Shankar. 2.0, which is the second installment of the Enthiran (Robot) series stars Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar. While Rajinikanth will be seen playing dual roles of scientist and Chitti, a Robot, Akshay Kumar portrays the main antagonist in the film.

On Sunday, the makers of 2.0 had revealed the date of its audio release as Diwali 2017. They also revealed that they are planning a grand audio release in Dubai and will distribute the film themselves in South India.

Catch had previously reported that the Hindi distribution rights of 2.0 have been sold to Anil Thadani of AA Films for Rs. 80 crore.

2.0 stars Amy Jackson in the female lead. The film is slated to release simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages on 25 January 2018.
