Indian legendary woman boxer Mary Kom, who has claimed the yellow medal in Common Wealth Games today. She registered the victory against Northern Ireland’s Kristina O’Hara in the final of 45-48 kg weight victory. Mary Kom has become the first Indian woman who wins the gold medal in CWG 2018, Australia.
There are also the expectations that this would be the last medal for MC Mary Kom as she will be taking the retirement after the tournament. After Mary Kom, Vinesh Phogat also gets the gold medal in wrestling, who defeated Canada's Jessica Macdonald 13-3.

Kom is a former five-time world amateur champion who won a bronze medal in the 51-kilogram division at the London Olympics in 2012.
