Diwali 2017: Yogi Adityanath government all set to create a unique Guinness World Record

Yogi Adityanath government is going to break a Guinness World Record held by former Dera Sacha Sauda Chief Gurmeeet Ram Rahim by lighting up approx two lakh earthen lamps. This record is going to be created in the holy city of Ayodhya this Diwali.

Last year, on 23 September the Dera chief made a Guinness World record by displaying, 1,50,009 lit up earthen lamps in Sirsa. On the occasion of Diwali, the festival of lights, this previously set record is aimed to be broken by the UP government.

The land of Lord Rama, Ayodhya would be all blitzed as there would be a special laser show and the Epic Ramayana will be depicted through the portrayal of Ramlila by International artists.

A symbolic coronation would be performed on the cosplays of Lord Rama, Laksman and Sita. Thereafter, a procession will be taken all around the city. UP Governor Ram Naik will be present with CM Aditynath. The stretch of Saryu Ghat, Ram Ki Pauri Ghat and Ram Katha Park will be seen lit with the oil lamps, by the college students and NCC Cadets.
“Ayodhya is part of our history and culture. We are trying to recreate the festive scene when Lord Ram returned to Ayodhya thousands of years ago. This is an environment-friendly event, with oil lamps and a laser show to be organised,” Yogi Adityanath said on Tuesday in Gorakhpur.

Meanwhile, the opposition parties have raised a question on the enormous expenditure that is to be done in the event. Along with attending the event, Yogi Adityanath is supposed to launch various projects for Ayodhya.
