Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury has criticized West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, stating that her "magic" is fading away, and her "delusion" will diminish in the future.

The CBI has arrested Trinamool Congress (TMC) MLA Jiban Krishna Saha in the West Bengal teachers' recruitment scam case.

CBI recovers incriminating material in six location raids
The CBI conducted searches at six locations, including at the premises of Jiban Krishna Saha, in an ongoing investigation of the alleged West Bengal teachers' recruitment scam. Several incriminating materials, including primary and upper teachers' recruitment documents, were recovered during the searches.

Jiban Krishna Saha is the third TMC MLA to be arrested by the CBI in its probe into the alleged West Bengal teachers' recruitment scam.

The case alleges that the accused acted as a conduit in collecting money from candidates by promising them teaching jobs in the state.
