The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on February 25 said that the temperature of most parts of North India is going to rise by 2-3 degrees Celsius in the next 2-3 days.
According to the weather department, a western disturbance in the middle and upper tropospheric westerlies is likely to cause scattered rainfall and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh from February 25 to 27.
New Western Disturbance
A new western disturbance is expected to affect the Western Himalayas region and adjoining plains of Northwest India from February 28.
Under its influence light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorm and lightening is expected over the Western Himalaya region during February 28 to March 1. Rainfall is also likely in Haryana and Chandigarh and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh on March 1.
Hailstorm is also expected in isolated places of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh on March 1.
Temperature Forecast
The daytime temperature in parts of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh is expected to rise by 2-3 degrees Celsius in the next three days. The nighttime temperature in Maharashtra is expected to rise by 2-3 degrees Celsius in the next 3 days.

The state experienced dry weather with daytime temperatures ranging from 3-6 degrees Celsius in the last 24 hours.
The maximum and minimum temperature of capital city Jaipur was 29.8 and 16.1 respectively.
