The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that temperatures are likely to drop further in parts of northwest India as a new Western disturbance forms over the western Himalaya region starting February 14, 2023.
“The Western Disturbance as a trough in middle tropospheric westerlies with its axis at 5.8 km above mean sea level has moved away eastnortheastwards. A fresh feeble Western Disturbance is Likely to affect Western Himalayan Region from night of 14th February, 2023,” said IMD, Jaipur.
The new Western Disturbance will bring light rainfall and snowfall to isolated parts of Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit Balochistan from February 14 to 17. Isolated parts of Arunachal Pradesh may also experience light rainfall and snowfall, along with thunderstorm and lightning on February 13.
Strong Winds:
Under the influence of the new Western Disturbance, strong winds with speed of 25-35 kmph to 40 kmph are very likely in parts of Northwest India during February 13 to 15.
Rajasthan Weather Forecast
Most regions of the state are predicted to be dry. Nevertheless, gusts of wind ranging from 35-40 kmph are probable.
Jaipur Weather
The minimum and maximum temperature of the capital city in the last 24 hours was 9.9 and 26.5 respectively. The day and night temperature of the city is expected between 30 to 12 degrees Celsius.
Rainfall Warning
As of now, there is no rainfall warning.
Minimum Temperature
The night temperature has fallen down by 3-6 degrees Celsius in parts of Haryana, Delhi, South Rajasthan, north Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand in the last 24 hours.
As per the weather department, the minimum temperature was in the range of 4-7 degrees Celsius in parts of Rajasthan, Punjab, and Haryana in the last 24 hours.
The night temperature was in the range of 7-10 degrees Celsius in parts of Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and some parts of Madhya Pradesh and north Chhattisgarh in the last 24 hours.
