As the effect of Western Disturbances eases, parts of Rajasthan have witnessed a rise in the temperature in the last 24 hours.
Minimum and Maximum Temperatures
The Indian Meteorological Department recorded the minimum temperature of 5.4 degrees Celsius in Fatehpur, Sikar and Churu in the last 24 hours. 5.9 degrees Celsius in Chittorgarh. The night temperature in other parts of the state settled at 8 degrees Celsius or more.
The maximum temperature of 30 degrees Celsius was recorded in Jalore and 29.7 degrees in Dungarpur.
Japur Temperature
The maximum and minimum temperatures in the state capital Jaipur was 26 and 11 respectively.
Weather Forecast
This sequence of weather is likely to continue for the time being, the MeT official said. It also predicted that the weather will remain dry in Rajasthan.
Note: The weather forecast is from February 9 to February 12.
Rainfall Alert
As per the latest notification by the MeT department, there is no chance of rain in any part of the desert state.
Western Disturbance
“The Western Disturbance now seen as a cyclonic circulation over west Iran & neighbourhood between 5.8 km & 7.6 km above mean sea level,” said the weather department.
Meanwhile, the maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to rise in one day due to the change in wind direction. The maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 25.4 degrees Celsius, two degrees above normal. The temperature on Monday was 29 degrees Celsius.
