The impact was so intense that the woman sitting on the pillion seat was thrown into the air and fell on the road. All three passengers, including the toddler, sustained injuries in the incident. The stray dogs could be seen fleeing after the collision.
The clip also shows one of the stray dogs that accidentally fell under the scooter scampering away while the women struggle to get up. All the passengers were seen riding the two-wheeler without wearing helmets.
In February this year, the Odisha government had issued a direction for removal of stray animals from the streets across the state. The decision was taken after the four-year-old boy was mauled to death by street dogs in Hyderabad in the same month.
