A news anchor named Pratima Dutta uniquely protested against the regressive mindset of BJP government in Haryana. She protested against Haryana government by reading the news in 'veil'. The anchor started her show with Veil and said, “It’s a tough task to see anything through this Ghunghat. This seems to be a Restraint. Some says it to be rituals while others says it society’s Fetter. This are not Ghunghat these are Fetter.”

Earliar, a commercial by Haryana Government was issued with a quote ‘घूंघट की आन-बान, म्हारी हरियाणा की पहचान. The advertisment has gone viral on social media.
