Delhi and the NCR region were jolted by powerful earthquake tremors on January 24 afternoon.
According to people working in high-rise buildings, they felt strong movement for a few seconds.
Ceiling fans and other hanging items were also moved due to the strong tremors.
According to National Center for Seismology, an earthquake of magnitude 5.8 hit Nepal today afternoon sending tremors across New Delhi and Rajasthan. The earthquake that struck around 2.28 pm was recorded at a depth of 10 km and about 63 km to the Jumla district of Nepal. There were no immediate reports of any casualties.

Residents of Delhi took to twitter and shared video clips of the hanging items moving due to the powerful tremors.
