RPF jawan saved woman's life

Prompt action of an on-duty Railway Protection Force (RPF) jawan and a passenger saved the life of a woman at a Mumbai railway station. The whole incident was captured on CCTV footage.

In the video, the woman and a man can be seen trying to board the moving train at Dadar Railway Station in Mumbai during rush hours. The RPF jawan is also seen keeping an eye on the passengers trying to board the moving train. Suddenly, the woman looses balance and falls on the platform, close to the gap between the platform and the train. The RPF jawan and the passenger behind the woman immediately pulls the woman to a safer distance from the moving train. The video shows a policeman also rushing to save the woman.

Boarding a moving train could lead to severe injuries.

Yesterday, the RPF Western Railway shared a video in which a Head Constable can be seen saving the life of a woman, who stumbled and began slipping into the gap between the train and the platform.

The woman was trying to board the moving train at Virar Railway Station.

The RPF Western Railway commended Head Constable Yamini Kant Mishra's foresight, saying that the officer "justified the saying "Protected by God can't be killed."
