In recent months, the BJP has been very active and focused in Kerala, not only announcing numerous infrastructure projects in the state but also courting the Christian and Muslim communities, which have influence over a chunk of the state's seats.
During his visit to the state, the Prime Minister will be attending several programmes over the next two days, which include flagging off a Vande Bharat Express train, meeting with senior priests of the Christian community, and attending a youth event. The BJP expects "Yuvam 2023" to be a game-changer in Kerala politics.
